The other day I gave you a list of suggestions for buying presents to creative techies.
This time around, I was thinking about creative readers.
How many people do you know who love to read? A bunch, right?
So, I’m sure that you probably won’t have any trouble when it comes to buying them a present but there’s no harm in suggesting a few things anyway.
I hope these can give you some inspiration:
I haven’t read this book yet ( but it’s on my wishlist).
I first came across it while I was visiting a bookshop in London and was immediately attracted by the title.
It’s not a book exclusively for creative people, but I think it’s a good option considering that designers and creatives alike are usually under a lot of pressure and stress.
You can find this book in Book Depository and will cost you around 14 euros, including shipping.
This is another book that I’ve been wanting to buy.
I believe it can make a big impact on designers, marketers and even your boss (just be careful, he might suggest some crazy ideas after reading the book).
It’s about the process between an idea and putting it into practice and gives you some real-life examples.
You can also find it at Book Depository for less than 9 euros.
You’ve just read the title and thought: Bookmarks, really? Yes, really!
I’m not a big fan of them either, but just because I don’t usually use them, doesn’t mean that other people can’t enjoy them.
Besides, if it’s funny, well designed or a different Bookmark, I’m totally into it.
I found these on Ali Express and was kind of fascinated by them. It’s a bundle of 150 cool Chinese packaging drinks. From Coca-cola to less known ones, there’s a big variety of them.
150 Bookmarks might be a little too much but you would pay around 12 euros, which is a very good price.
You can also search for other designs such as food, cartoons or cats. You can never go wrong with cats.
Ok, this one is a little trickier. You have to know more about the person in question and do some research before choosing the right magazine.
Be open to the idea of looking for international publications. They will cost you more, but possibly have a bigger impact as a creative gift.
Most of the times when we want to relax and take some time off to read, we also tend to drink at the same time.
There’s something about this combination that makes us feel more at peace.
Some people like coffee, some prefer tea and others go for stuff like a frappuccino or skinny latte (fancy people, right?)
Either way, a mug is also a very nice present for a book lover.
This mug costs around 11 euros, plus shipping. If you don’t quite like this option, you can see other funny examples on Etsy.
Let me know in the comments if you go for any of my suggestions or if you have any other idea. 📖 🤓
I would also like to tell you that if you choose to buy the books that I’ve mentioned, Book Depository will give me a 5% affiliate fee. So, thank you again!
