NANOCULTURE: an aquaculture branding project

NANOCULTURE is an aquaculture research project from CIIMAR. It addresses the risk assessment and mitigation of the presence of Engineered Nanomaterials in the Atlantic.
For this project, the logo needed to work as a full mark as well as a memorable and unique symbol.

It needed to communicate their research purpose at first glance. At the same time, it needs to stand out from the aquaculture logos that already exist.

Besides the logo, the company required some brand applications such as business cards and a rollup.

Additionally, the client also needed a brand guide manual to keep it cohesive in future applications.
